So, I’m 30. Oh my God, how did this happen? I figured for sure that I’d be dead in a ditch by now. Or at the very least grown up.

I’m not sure if this is a common thread among people “my age,” but I really don’t feel like an adult yet. I mean, sure, I have a child, I pay bills, I go to work every day, but I also play video games, I laugh at stupid comedy and eat way too many cookies. I talk to friends about collecting baseball cards and tabletop gaming.

I imagine at least a portion of this is a good thing. Being young at heart, so to speak.

What is this blog about? I don’t know. My ongoing journey to adulthood, maybe. As with any blog, things that interest, intrigue or anger me will make regular appearances. I’ll probably talk about my career a bit (without getting into too many specifics, as I do enjoy my career). And my journey into the world of (yeah, I’m gonna say it) Web 2.0.

I’ve been a late adopter on a lot of this stuff. Except for instant messaging and Facebook, I’ve shied away from a lot of this stuff. But maybe it’s just getting easier and easier.

We’ll see.
